Looking for a venue that’s got a bit of history and a whole lot of charm? The Fox Performing Arts Center in Riverside, California is just that place. It’s not just a pretty face with its well-kept exterior and classic marquee, this place packs a punch when it comes to supporting arts education through its scholarship programs. In 2026, they pulled out all the stops with a stunning production of The Phantom of the Opera, drawing big crowds and giving everyone a chance to be part of something special. The sound engineers rave about the audio setup on the Orchestra Mezzanine, which honestly makes a difference when you're sitting there soaking it all in. They’ve also made sure to be disability-friendly, with features that make it easier for everyone to enjoy the show, no matter what. If you’re bringing kids, it’s worth mapping out your route ahead of time to dodge the busy streets, or give yourself a little extra time parking and getting inside. And when it comes to tickets, the center’s interactive seating chart is a lifesaver, it lets you compare seats side by side, whether you’re after the thrill of front row Judge Reinhold or the luxury of VIP sections for Dino Ranch Live.
